Maggio says Italy are ready for action...

Italy defender Christian Maggio doesn't subscribe to the idea that his side will crash out of the World Cup earlier than expected.
The stopper has outlined Italy's potential in South Africa, and agrees they can exceed expectations.
"We are not the favourites, but the bookmakers always make mistakes. We have never started off as favourites, even when we have won," he told the press in Centurion.
"You can see that we are already better here in South Africa as we have got over the fatigue."
Paraguay are up next and the South Americans are eager to cause an upset.
"Regarding Paraguay, we have not started work on the particulars. It's hard to say how we will play. We are trying different things. We are ready for the World Cup."
